I’m Jaydra, a strategist and storyteller who blends design, video, and community engagement to make people care. With eight years of experience in corporate marketing, creative production, and nonprofit partnerships, I help organizations strengthen their identity and connect authentically with their audiences. My work focuses on turning stories into strategy, building trust, engagement, and impact through thoughtful design and emotionally grounded storytelling.

My Story

My story

Very early on, I’ve always been fascinated by relationships. Not just the rom-com kind, but the ones we have with one another, with the brands we choose, and the products we use. I’m a big nerd who loves to ask “why” people behave the way they do and “how” they think.

I’ve also always been drawn to the arts. Any creative project we had in school, I went all in. Even in my AP science classes, I was turning study notes into illustrated infographics and clever copy to help the information stick. I learned early that creativity isn’t separate from structure. It’s how I process ideas and connect with the world.

That mix of curiosity and creativity made it hard to pick a path. For a while, I thought I wanted to be a psychologist or a lawyer, but eventually I realized I was most interested in making things make sense. I love helping people understand ideas in ways they’ll actually pay attention to. Different cultures, languages, and attention spans all change how we communicate, and that’s where my curiosity turned into a career.

Every brand, event, and movement has a story to tell, and that’s what I’m most passionate about. Over the past eight years, I’ve built a career helping people and organizations share their stories through marketing, design, and multimedia. My background in film, graphic design, communications, and web gives me a mix of structure and creativity that keeps projects both strategic and meaningful.

And as a tech-driven millennial with Gen Z preteens, I stay humble, curious, and just trendy enough to keep up.

Good design doesn’t just tell people what to think. It invites them to feel something real.
